TIMBER FRAME BUILDINGS

Throughout Great Britain there are many timber frame buildings, which
are of historical interest and over the years have suffered from
problems caused by our climate. Owing to the construction and the fact
that timber moves with weather conditions, open joints allow the ingress
of rainwater which eventually results in decay.

Robinsons Preservation Ltd specialise in the restoration of timber frame
buildings using traditional techniques The decayed timbers are removed
and new treated timber spliced and joined with dowels.

Once restored the building will last long into the next Millennium. For
